In this post, I’ll show you the most common pitfalls in CRM onboarding for Swiss SMEs, how to identify them, and what specific steps you can take to set up your CRM, company data, and sales pipeline properly.
To develop a new website, I conduct a half-day onboarding workshop with each of my clients. The purpose of this workshop is to gather as much information as possible about the company, its current offerings, the competition, and the client’s future offerings. I finalized this document after the workshop and shared it with Edi. It serves as the basis for me to develop the website concept.
After developing the website concept, I create the screen designs for the new website. I presented these to Edi so he could get a first impression of the new website before I began implementing it.
This gives the client a good sense of how the website will look in terms of colors, layout, and structure. In addition, clients have the opportunity to provide feedback on the design or structure, which I can incorporate before implementing the website.
After Edi approved the mockups, I began implementing the website. For this, I primarily use HubSpot’s CMS. Thanks to my many years of experience
The all-in-one platform: Website, CRM, marketing, blog, and analytics are seamlessly integrated; no additional plugins are required.
Automated security & hosting: SSL, backups, updates, and server management are included, reducing maintenance efforts.
Fast performance: Optimized hosting and an integrated CDN ensure fast loading times without any extra configuration.
Easy personalization & automation: Content can be automatically tailored to leads, customer status, or behavior.
Integrated reporting & analytics: Marketing and sales data can be tracked directly on the website, eliminating the need for external tracking.
Built-in SEO & marketing tools: Keyword tracking, SEO recommendations, and content optimization are built into the tool, and no plugins are required.
The HubSpot CMS is ideal for small businesses:
HubSpot CMS saves time and is less technically complex because marketing, CRM, and the website are all managed from a single platform. This allows small businesses to present a professional image, effectively manage leads, and run their website without significant IT effort.
While I’m building the individual pages in HubSpot step by step, my clients can already start creating content for the website. Once I had set up all the pages in HubSpot, Edi was able to add the content directly to the website.
In addition to the website, I had the opportunity to install HubSpot’s booking, newsletter, and blog tools for Wings-Coaching, as well as set up the CRM. This is because Edi plans to share engaging content on mental health with prospective clients via newsletters and blog posts. Are you also interested in blog posts about mental health? Then sign up for the newsletter on the Wings-Coaching website.

It was a great pleasure to work on this project with Edi. Thank you very much for your trust. I’m curious to see how many initial consultations with Edi will be booked through the integrated booking system on the website.
